Awkwafina

American actor and musician Awkwafina began her career with hilarious songs that dealt with racial identity and sexuality with an incisive and humorous perspective, before broadening her reach to Hollywood. Nora Lum began her musical path as a trumpeter. Her birthplace was Forest Hills Queens, she was the child of Chinese immigrants as well as Korean immigrants. In addition to classical and jazz, Nora Lum started studying hip-hop when she was in her teens. Following a focus on education, she was awarded a degree in journalism in college and a women's studies major. It wasn't until after graduating when she decided to turn her attention on music. The year 2012 saw My Vag (as a retort to Mickey Avalon's My Dick) became an online hit, and it was featured in her debut album Yellow Ranger.
