Anna Chlumsky

Anna Chlumsky, an American actor who received critical acclaim became famous by playing a child in the film 'My Girls 2' and its sequel. The lead roles she played continued to delight viewers in films like "Trading Mom" as well as "Gold Diggers: the Secret of Bear Mountain". The actress won numerous awards for her performance during these films in the beginning of her career. When she was in high school it was apparent that she had lost her interest in the entertainment business. She did not see all her fellow students at film shoots. Interest in the acting profession waned as she was able to focus on her schooling. While she aspired to become an author of food reviews however, her best chance was the job of a fact-checker for Zagat Restaurant guides. The next position she had at HarperCollins as an editing assistant made her miserable. After a short time, she was offered the part of Liza for the show 'In The Loop'. Soon afterwards she began appearing in Off Broadway shows.
